Former players and supporters who are no longer with us were remembered at the annual celebration event held in the Memorial Garden near the HUB on the eve of the season.
A crowd of supporters were joined by board members Phil Kirk, Ashley Kirk, Mike Goodwin and Dave Simmonds.
Pete Whiteley read out the names of more than 30 supporters who have passed away over the last 12 months, including Glenn Kirkwood, who was remembered by fans after 46 minutes in Friday night’s game after losing his brave battle with cancer at the age of 46 recently.
Stuart Basson, Paul Kellett and Phil Tooley paid tribute to the former players who passed away over the last year: Glan Letheren, Gary Simpson and Bobby Tait.
