Alison Brooks and her colleagues from TNP recently donated £150 to the Feed Chesterfield Together programme, which was launched by the Community Trust as a joint venture with Chesterfield Locality Children’s Partnership (LCP).
TNP founder Ian Humphries explained that the donation reflected the company’s ethos of helping others. He said: “We have in some prior years given out gift hampers to staff. This year we thought it might be a good thing to contribute to the many foodbanks that will be helping the many people who will be in considerable need this Christmas.”
Alison and her team of project managers decided to split the original £250 donation into four so that they could represent all areas the team cover.
“A local colleague, Chris Monck, and I decided to increase the donation from £62.50 to £150 in support of Ian’s amazing offer and to do something for the local community,” said Ali.
“I was keen to get involved to support the great work the Community Trust do with the Feed Chesterfield Together initiative.
“I think it’s so important – particularly at this time of year – that we remember how fortunate we are and do something to help those in need, and to let them know they’re being thought about.”
Feed Chesterfield Together was launched by the Community Trust as a joint venture with Chesterfield Locality Children’s Partnership (LCP), with the aim of supporting local food provisions within Chesterfield and the surrounding areas.
