Chesterfield FC Community Trust is delighted to announce Acacia Care and Goldwell Manor as a Silver Friend of the Trust.
Commenting on their support for the Trust, Rob Lake of Acacia Care said: “Since attending the Community Awards Night at the stadium and having the privilege to be able to present an award, it gave us a real insight into the positive impact the Trust has on both individuals and the community.
“The decision to become a Friend of the Trust was an easy one on a personal level, having links with the town, and it is a fantastic opportunity, as a business, to give a little back to the community and support the incredible work the Trust does.”
Speaking about how Acacia Care and Goldwell Manor first got involved with the Trust, Rob said: “Through our activities provision at Goldwell Manor, we created a link with Chesterfield FC Community Trust.
“We quickly realised how much of an integral part of our community they are and what a significant impact they have on the town, which we wanted to support and be a part of.”
Rob also commented on the continued work carried out by the Trust at Goldwell Manor, saying: “The Trust’s team have been attending Goldwell Manor for quite some time, assisting our residents with chair-based exercises, which they absolutely love. This is only one of the very many things done by the Trust to support the community.”
