Chesterfield FC Community Trust’s traineeship programme has been relaunched as ‘Reboot’. The Reboot programme is for participants who are not in education, training or employment.
The programme is a full-time, 12-week course aimed at providing you with the tools to kick-start your future and reboot your career.
The course includes a work placement which we will tailor to you and the career path you wish to follow. We will support you with achieving functional skills, Maths and English (if haven’t achieved previously) and give you the tools to make you work-ready with life skills and employability skills sessions.
Over the past three years, we have had so many successful stories of participants completing the programme and moving on to bigger and better opportunities.
We have had participants move on to apprenticeships here at the Trust and other employers.
Some participants have moved into further education to gain qualifications to support them on their career path and many have moved into employment through the experience they have gained during the programme’s work experience placement as part of the programme.

Natasha Ingleby, an education officer at the Trust, said: “Compared to mainstream education, we offer a more relaxed atmosphere which is designed to engage you back within education.
“We have friendly tutors who are always willing to put the extra effort in to make sure you achieve your desired goals after your 12 weeks with us.
“As much as the educational side is important, the programme can help you develop your social skills, such as gaining confidence by doing various team building activities and social projects which allows you to meet new friends along the way.”
